As soft winds sweep away the days
I look back on my life through a haze.
As though memories were just dreams,
Never realizing what it all means.
Now I know it was all in my mind;

Unfortunately, in this world of Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, camera phones, texting, etc., if you let someone into your virtual world - you have "let them in" to your world. My advice falls under the "Hindsight is 20/20" cliche unfortunately. If a person doesn't want "problems" like a 'fatal attraction'-type romance, then don't open the door to it.

You know I was so crabby yesterday and I have no idea why. Life isn’t perfect but it’s still great for me. Now I will NOT take back any of the Michael Jackson comments I made yesterday.

I don’t mean to sound disrespectful. I know this man changed things within the music industry and opened a lot of doors for upcoming African American artist everywhere, and that's a good thing. But I will be sooooo glad when tomorrow comes and goes, as you know Michael's funeral is happening.
A few kind words from a stranger.........
It is amazing how a few kind words and fresh advice can have such a powerful impact. A few days ago I posted how I had lost my family and was feeling so alone. A couple of people responded with words of kindness and wise advice, and I can see the sun again!
Lost My Family-my heart is shattered.....
I was the only girl and the youngest and always felt a special bond with my father. Now, within a few months, and a lot of hateful words after desparately needing help from my family, I lost them all....... I guess there was an "expiration date" on love and support from my family.
You know if it isn’t one thing it’s another
Now knowing that we don’t give out Christmas gifts to the immediate family, (only brothers, sister, and her) my irritating mother got a gift anyway this year. While we were out a few weeks ago, (on the day she irritated me beyond belief), I was shopping with my friends and her. She went on and on and on about how she had bought herself a new Wii game system and how it would be sooooo nice if she had the extra parts to go with it.
